Roger & Brigitte Bourget and the entire Bourget crew would like to take a minute to wish our fellow Americans a Happy 4th of July! 4th of July is more than just a day to get together with family and friends and have a cook out and watch fireworks. This is the day we celebrate our Independence and our Freedom. We’d like to urge each and every one of you to take a minute and think about what it means to be an American and be thankful for it. For us it means being able to use our God given talents and creativity to make a living doing something we love. Being an American entitles us to have the freedom to own a business and make the coolest bikes on the planet!

There are so many things we as Americans take for granted, especially our Armed Forces. Regardless of how you feel about the war, the President, who’s running for President, the price of gas, the taxes you have to pay, and the sacrifices you think have to make - reality is we live in a free country and our rights and lives are protected by individuals who are doing a job. Just like we build motorcycles, chef’s prepare food, mechanics work on cars, and construction workers build buildings, soldiers protect our lives, our rights, and our homeland. During the month of July – pay tribute and give thanks to the men and women who make up our Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard, Coast Guard, and Reserves. Without them and the sacrifices they make daily and have made for hundreds of years, we would not have the freedoms and the privileges we as Americans enjoy today. When you see a solider in uniform wish them well, salute them and thank them for their service to our country. They are doing their job, whether they personally agree with our countries leaders or not, they put their lives on the line to protect us – you, me, your family, our Country.

Celebrate the 4th of July with your family and friends – cook hamburgers on the grill – watch fireworks with your kids. Hold your loved ones close and say a prayer for the soldiers who are not able to do the same. We live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Don’t forget to thank those who’ve made that possible!
